An LED driver is the electronic circuitry that supplies and regulates power to the LEDs. In a vehicle work light, it operates from the specified DC input-voltage range and may also provide dimming, thermal control, and protection against electrical disturbances. The driver converts and controls the incoming electrical power so the LEDs receive the required current despite changes in supply voltage or temperature. Its design influences efficiency, electromagnetic compatibility, dimming behavior, and reliability. A driver is normally integrated into a Nordic Lights work light, but the exact protections and control functions vary by product.
