Mining Truck

A mining truck is a heavy-duty vehicle used to transport ore, waste rock, or overburden at a mine. The term may cover rigid haul trucks and articulated trucks. Lighting must support travel, loading, dumping, maneuvering, and maintenance in dusty, dark, and high-vibration conditions. These vehicles carry very large loads and may operate continuously on haul roads shared with other equipment. Lighting must reveal road edges, berms, intersections, loading equipment, the dump point, and obstacles without producing disabling glare. Product durability, vibration resistance, dust and water protection, and maintainability are critical in this demanding environment.
